The National Theatre of the Deaf Presents

The Little Theatre of the Deaf

Sunday, February 20th, 2005 @ 3:00pm____________      All Tickets $5, A Family Series Event

The Little Theatre of the Deaf, the Children's Theatre wing of The National Theatre of the Deaf, will perform Fingers Around the World, featuring their Far Eastern adaptation of Alice in Wonderland.  The Little Theatre of the Deaf will take you on a journey into the Wonderland of the East as well as adding tidbits of culture and history for the young and young at heart. The audience will not only meet some old friends from Lewis Carroll's beloved classic, but also be entertained by short folktales from different countries in the region.  Distinguished by a unique theatre style combining American Sign Language with the spoken word, The Little Theatre of the Deaf performance unfolds in these two languages creating a new dramatic form.  As stories are woven and sculpted out of the air, pictures are created and vivid images imprint the mind.

This performance is one you don't want to miss!

This program is made possible in part by funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State through the Local Arts Development Grant Program administered by the
