Kerry admits he's a war criminal...but Rumsfeld must resign?
By Don Hurley
John Kerry admitted in an interview with Dick Cavett in 1971 that he, (Kerry) committed an assortment of war atrocities, such as razing villages, free fires, and much more during his 3 1/2 months in Vietnam.
Now, we fast forward to the year 2004, and we have this same admitted war criminal, Kerry, calling publicly for the resignation for war atrocities committed by Donald Rumsfeld, in his position as the Secretary of Defense for the United States, with regard to the Abu Gharib situation.
It becomes obvious that suspension of real belief has become the norm of this twisted campaign for the Presidency. Are we to believe that murderous terrorists prisoners being compelled to wear ladies under garments upon their heads can be compared to Kerry's own acknowledgement that he razed villages, violated free fire zones, and certainly much worse conduct, are even in the same league?
Given this Forrest Gump candidate Kerry's bewildering logic: If Rumsfeld is not fit to serve as Secretary of Defense, than how could Kerry be considered fit to serve as President and the Commander In Chief of our Armed Forces?
Kerry thought he made a wise choice in selecting John Edwards as his running mate in his Manchurian quest for the Presidency of the United States. Perhaps it was Edwards that fired the loudest round of the campaign, when he challenged the American people if they really wanted to get to know the "Real John Kerry", than just listen to the men who served with him in Vietnam.
It becomes clear that the more people who served with Kerry come forward, the more people are truly finding out who "The Real John Kerry" is. Kerry's campaign is in a free fall, with changing stories every day, and these days more than one changing story per day.
Be honest, how many of you could get away with referring these drastic discrepencies of Kerry's life situations to your biographer? Any way, does not a biographer only know what the subject tells him, perhaps along with personal diaries and public records? These also do not jibe with what Kerry says today.
It is no wonder that Kerry has involved himself in the symbolic book-burning of the Swift Vets For Truth fact-based account of what really happened during Kerry's so-called defining moments of his life.
It would seem to be consistent, that John Kerry would resign as Democrat Candidate for President, and United States Senator, in view of the fact that his admitted conduct trumps ladies under garments every time!
